We’re down to the final group of lots in phase 2 of our Colorada Fresh Pineapples project. Please note that when these lots are sold this will complete our immediate expansion plans. Plan for Q4 2019 and 2020

Production:

• Complete planting of phase 2
• Complete remaining equipment and irrigation system upgrades
• Continue to perform state of the art crop care treatments to achieve superior yields

Sales:

Our initial harvests have all been sold to well established local buyers. As our production continues to increase and with most of the phase 2 lots being harvested by the end of next year, our main focus now is to expand our export sales, specifically to Europe and the US.

Later this month we’re attending the PMA Fresh Summit Conference in Anaheim US, followed by the Fruit Attraction trade show in Madrid and several buyer meetings in the Netherlands to finalize some export contracts. In February we’ll also be attending Fruit Logistica in Berlin again, which is the biggest fruit trade show in the world and proved very rewarding for us last year.

Our closeness to Tocumen International Airport and both canal ports means we’re ideally placed to get our premium sweet MD-2 pineapples as freshly as possible to all our key pineapple export markets.

Investors:

Our first investors have already received payouts and we aim to continue to deliver returns at or above the promised levels.

There’s no immediate phase 3 expansion plan, so for the foreseeable future this will be the last opportunity to invest in our Colorada Fresh Pineapples project.
