We are very excited to announce our new import and distribution company, Caimito Fruits Europe S.L., based in Madrid, Spain, has received its first container of our high-quality pineapples from our farm in Panama. 

Since the farm started back in early 2018, we have gone through multiple expansions while meeting and successfully overcoming many challenges, including a global pandemic followed by inflation and the cost of production dramatically increasing. However, the biggest challenge of all was in export sales and distribution. Our minimum order size for pineapples shipped via refrigerated sea container was 21 metric tons or an entire container of pineapples, resulting in lower wholesale prices and not being in control of our fruit after it leaves Panama. 

Now we can receive our own containers of fruit and break down the containers to sell to end-user buyers such as grocery stores, hotels, restaurants, etc., resulting in much better prices. This means more stability and better returns for our farm investors and partners.

Our primary focus for 2023 and beyond will be to continue to increase production (through the newly added farm) and continue our European expansion via our new import and disturbing company to deliver our premium pineapples directly from the farm to upscale retail shops and specialist gourmet supermarkets.
