While the soil preparations for phase 2 are progressing as planned at the farm (more on this in our next update), the main focus of today’s update is our recent visit to FRUIT LOGISTICA, the largest international trade fair for fruit marketing. FRUIT LOGISTICA

Last week our Chief Agricultural Engineer and core partner, Guillermo Jiménez, attended FRUIT LOGISTICA in Berlin, Germany. We were part of the official Panama delegation and Exporta exhibit, which included representatives from 13 of the main fresh produce exporters of Panama.

A clear take-away from the visit was that the global demand for our Golden MD-2 pineapple is very high. We established new contacts with many interested wholesale buyers from Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia.

Price Increase

Our limited time offer to purchase a phase 2 lot at the phase 1 introductory price of $59,500 is ending March 1st. After this, phase 2 lots will be priced at $69,500. Each lot has 2.5 acres (1 hectare) of pineapple production area.
A lot can be reserved for a 10% deposit and the lots will go into the monthly planting cycle on a first come first serve basis upon funding of the full purchase price.
